No, I’m saying they could bypass ALL excuses for disappearing (such as fake diseases) because they could make it seem as though they are still here when in actual fact what we are shown on TV is things which are filmed in their bunkers using green screens and deepfakes.

The whole ‘I’ve got an incurable disease’ schtick is there to serve some other purpose, not as a getaway excuse.
