I think the reason Charles and Kate are coming out with cancer stories is to make it appear more normal to their ‘subjects’ who are actually suffering from cancer due to the war being waged on them by the likes of the royal family.
If the royal family have cancer then no one will suspect them as being in cahoots with the engineers of cancer

I think your understanding, or at least your description, of the psychological mechanisms of Psy Ops/propaganda is far too rudimentary here and takes no account of the subtlety and imperceptibility of the effects public figures have in shaping the minds of masses.

No, my original name was Jacobites but I was banned from GAW forever so just changed it to Jacobin as similar sounding, assuming they were a similar outfit, before I had any idea who or what the jacobins really were
Ok. Well if I remember correctly they were the original illuminati / commie foot soldiers, before communism was really a thing. There is also a far left magazine named Jacobin.
The Jacobins were the ones responsible for the reign of terror during the French Revolution.
I have an unexplored pet hypothesis. The Jacobites and Jacobins were around at roughly the same time. Both are clearly named after Jacob (not James as history would have us believe). Jacob became Israel in the Bible so biblically speaking a Jacobite is the same thing as an Israelite, probably the same for jacobins.
The Jacobites went to war against the government to restore the rightful heir to the throne following the Glorious Revolution where Protestant Germanic monarchs were handed the crown of the United Kingdom rather than it being inherited by indigenous royalty. All part of the Protestant Reformation.
I’m sure there’s a much deeper, Jewish meaning to all of this because Christianity is the Jews revenge, but I can’t find the time or impetus to fathom it out
That's my go to theory too.
It's way too much logistics for that - every major public figure needs to feign a disease as an excuse and make official announcements, this would get ridiculous quickly. They have plenty of time to get to their bunkers without withdrawing from the public eye. They'll just quietly retreat the day before shtf and no one will even know. So I'd apply Occam's razor to that.
They can use deepfakes and green screens to make it appear they are still where they claim to be, rather than hidden in their bunkers
