One of the excuses that Russia had for invading Ukraine was NATO getting too close to their borders.
Now the whole Baltic Sea is surrounded by NATO and Russia has another 1000km of border with NATO.

Meanwhile, what's with that insane obsession with seas and ships? Is it some kind of British arrogance, that came from short period of time when this small and unsignificant island built huge fleet and began to terrorize other lands they have no business in at all?
Seas and ports are not so significant today. And if you are still obsessed with this nonexistent importance of all that sea/fleet/navy crap of past ceturies, then you could just take a map and look at the length of Russian shoreline. And what is most important - vast part of that shoreline is fundamentally unaccessible for any rival. But perfectly OK for Russian fleet, including submarines.
IDK, does showing your arrogance and ignorance publicly is kind of pride thing for you? I mean like that LGBTXYZ+ perverts who making pride from publicly showing their ilnesses and perversions?
West have no any chance against Russia, unless it accept it as equal and finally understand that we have different way of thinking and different set of virtues. The funny thing is if West finally does that, the whole narrative of eternal West-Russia opposition will become void. :)
