The reason they 'decriminalized' and then proceeded to let the state turn to shit was because they never tried to go after the dealers.
The dealers were always illegal yet as anyone will tell you, the cops let them deal and did nothing. It was always in plane sight, and allowed to happen. This was not just Oregon but everywhere they allowed for drug use in broad daylight..
Now.... Oregon has reversed and recriminalized....but they never went after the supply...so...let's criminalize the users again....right...because that makes sense....
Now compounded with years of added abuse and expanded users due to the decriminalization and lack of enforcement again at dealers resulted in a pandemic of opioid users.....
Now we will arrest them all and pay our fat cat buddies at the private Prisons....who supplied the drugs.... through their friends in the organized cartels and foreign intelligence groups....
It was a racket....and it is not conservative thinking suddenly coming back....its a grift like always designed to steal money and imprison free people into their slave system.
Real criminals are still let out on Bail...still not arrested for human trafficking and drug smuggling....nope....just the poor addicts...free cheap slave labour.
Ah yes keep proving yourself the leftist redditor you are lol.
It doesn't even matter what they do in regards to decriminalization if the Soros DA and activist judges continue to refuse to prosecute these cases. Oregon had 0 btw lol.
