You have been told to think about the dish. Which is an easily discredited talking point as you can easily bounce ham radios signals off the moon.
This makes you feel superior and smart, while draws your attention away from the fact that there is a jeep on the moon.
How, why would any scientist do that?
If you are communicating with the module. You would just use a straight antenna.
If you were communicating with earth, a dish flopping about would also do no good.
