I think they are mostly real people who just treat politics like a football game. They pick team Democrat and think Democrats are "winning." Muh sports team. Muh bread and circuses.

Joe Biden can loot the treasury and launder millions of dollars in quid pro quo deals to his son. Who cares? But Trump! Democrats are winning!
