We/they came for opportunities, just like your white family likely did when it was all too cool to immigrate here in the early 1900's. Same shit different smell. Just now it's brown people coming in, instead of other whites.

You would have probably said they were colonialists and invaders, so what's different now, aside from the fact that colonialists doesn't fit since no technology or government is being brought or established? Not to mention that those people were coming legally through government channels and not taking advantage of a welfare state.

That deflection doesn't explain all the desperation to get into European countries either or what made America a place people would come for opportunity to begin with
