This silly tete a tete popped into my head last night unbidden while I said my prayers. As such, the way we've been going back and forth is a waste of time. Let me instead ask you two questions.
Was Jesus God, and do you believe in the Trinity?

Where in the Bible is the Trinity is explained? Closely related, where does Jesus explicitly state he is God and/or part of that Trinity?
There are several verses that reference this: Isaiah 48:16 and 61:1, Matt 28:18-20, John 10:30, 2 Corinthians 13:14 to name a few.
