-ish implies ones approximation. Therefore; if one claiming self as "me; myself or I" brands others as "you/jew", then you-ish implies as approximated by oneself.

Furthermore; approximate (near in position, close to) implies "me near/close to you" as opposed to "one apart from one another"...the latter is perceivable; the former suggested.
