Rare and very expensive cameras have a decent IR filter to really cut all infrared from picture. Most have a simple plastic IR filter that is unable to really cut IR, so you will perfectly see all near infrared stuff on your video. Why narrator didn't show that dot pattern and how it projected to the detected face, but instead loop silly CGI again and again like swinging shiny object hypnotists use?
So, what do we have from that short segment? Fucking lies and blatant distraction. Also, in the preamble that took significant time, we have a full-blown "authority creation" with regalia and all that stuff. Yet another fucking expert who "worked a lot with image recognition" and didn't even know that he could easily, properly, and in a very educational way illustrate his narrative with things he have around.
Well, and suddenly this "expert" do not tell a single word about how to mtitgate, hack and circumvent all that stuff he so concerned about and as stated deeply known to him. He even didn't bother to tell just "Don't buy fucking iPhones and Androids" or "don't use fucking Facebook" to his viewers.
