I was waiting for someone to bring it up. Already seen it brought up on freecanada and r/conspiracy but ofc I dont have accounts there anymore.
What a bullshit movie. I loved the scene where the guy is telling julia that there is no group that controls the world, that they are scared to death of what could happen. What a laugh.
Things like the stock market, global economy's, yada yada, are to important to leave to chance or even the hand of god. If its built by man, then its controlled and can be destroyed by man.
The nuclear bombs at the end and "shadow governments" puleez, ripped off the tv series jericho.
The only part of the entire movie that actually spooked me?
Is the scene where the earth turns dark and is silhouetted in a dark red. This is what people think planet x could look like, if the old storys really are true itll appear to have horns on it or something. I dont know but something about it gave me a shudder.
All I was left with was questions and I really, really hate this type of story telling. Its very lazy and uninspiring.
Like why were all teh animals migrating all over the place exactly? It wasnt just because of the sound weapons and whatever else was going on. Im guessing was there gonna be a pole shift.
And yeah, sounds great, lets all hope when the world ends that some billionaire cant make it to his bunker in time and leaves everything wide open. Sounds plausible.
Or more appropriately, let's hope whatever happens smashes their asses first down there. It would be nice if EVERYTHING was destroyed, thus making their many-centuries plan completely worthless. THAT'S nirvana to me and I would happily sacrifice myself for it.
