Russians never deny that Russia is empire. But our empire don't need colonies, and never had them. We use different approach. This seems could not be understand by West who could not imagine any apporoach to building empire other then their.
Russia conquered anc colonized all of Sibera and plenty of -stan nations.
You found it in some Western textbooks written by worst enemies of Russia, aren't you?
All nations of Siberia and -stans are perfectly fine as part of Russia. They have their own governments and are full Russian citizens. We don't have some reservations or colonies.
what happened to the Crimean Tatars?
First, this Tatars are "Crimean" not because they are native to crimea. They was nomad tribes, tiny fragment of Khazarian Kaganate. Just part of them settled there. In times of WWII Stalin saved them from total annihilation. Crimean Tatars desided to take side of Germany in WWII. If they was not removed from fronlines, they all would have been join Germany troops and evetually killed as enemy, along with Germans.
Now they are perfectly fine, have representation in Crimea government, their language is one of official languages of Crimea and they have full rights as any Russian citizen.
Same thing happened with Chechens. Take a look at modern Grozny city and find out what side they fight on today.
Such policy have its benefits and drawbacks, but looking from the point of Russia as historical entity, benefits oviously overweight any drawbacks.
How come that Crimea is full of Russians?
Crimea is full of Russians because Russia defeated Ottoman Empire and included Crimea in Russia.
In the distant past, Crimea was inhabited by Greeks they build towns and had their lifes there for a long time. Crimean Greeks was totally exterminated by Turks at some point, Turks didn't even develop anything in Crimea, never settled there, never build a single village and used it just as a military base to attack Russia, Bulgaria and other countries around. Then Turks was defeated by Russia, Crimea become part of Russia, so it was inhabited with Russians.
Then was British "Crimean war" against Russia in attempt to colonize Crimea and build naval base. For whatever reason arrogant and stupid Brits thought that they are rulers of all seas. Their asses was heavily kicked in that humiliating for Brits war but British elite still can't forget about Crimea and their stupid idea that they are some sea Empire and have rights for every sea in the world.
Then Germans tried to conquer Crimea, and also failed.
Strange that arrogant idiots in Western elites, after numerous defeats still suppose that they could somehow take Crimea. Even their shennigans with so called "Ukraine" failed miserably. They are welcome if they don't care about lives of their military.
Russian conialism is the result of Russian imperialism.
Nothing funnier than Russians pretending that Russia wasn't imperialistic while whining about the glory days of the Russian Empire.
Russians never deny that Russia is empire. But our empire don't need colonies, and never had them. We use different approach. This seems could not be understand by West who could not imagine any apporoach to building empire other then their.
This is so fucking hilarious. Russia conquered anc colonized all of Sibera and plenty of -stan nations.
Is that what you guys learn in school? "It's not colonialism if Russia does it?"
Riddle me this: what happened to the Crimean Tatars? How come that Crimea is full of Russians?

Dude,
I literally don't give a shit about your Russian schoolbook justification for Russia's imperialism.
You don't need to post these wall of text. Your Russian propaganda is wasted on me.
Are you still pretending that you don't care about my opinion?
