Tech: We have a disease editing virus that could potentially save millions of lives. Should we cure cancer?

Progressives: Nah, target something blacks have. It's virtue signalling.

Tech: What if it doesn't work? Like the COVID shot?

Progressives: Well then we can make them pay for the side effects.

Tech: Ok, but what if it kills them?

Progressives: Win/win.
