a) truth (wanting suggested) or lie (not wanting suggested) or change (needing perceivable)...it's ones free will of choice what to respond to.

b) MAT'TER, noun (Latin materia; Heb. to measure) + MEASURE, noun (Latin mensura) - "whole extent".

Being implies partial (perception) within whole (perceivable)...measuring others tempts one to ignore being proportion (growth) within measure (loss).
