Personal repentance ends the inward struggle and helps us exemplify peace and charity in our outward actions. Then people want what we have and to know what we know. The struggle against sin is real and is manifested in us as fear of judgement when we see signs of the war about, when the real war is within. Personal conquest against our pride, ego and appetites is the game of life.
