How about peer pressure, that's what was guiding your decisions.

a) peer pressure (suggestion) can only guide through ones permission (consent).

b) being implies relief (life aka growth) within pressure (inception towards death aka loss)...others utilize peer pressure to tempt one to seek relief by giving into it.
