"in nomine" (in the name of) implies ones consent to the suggestion of another...that's the dichotomy (division into two classes).
"patris et filii et spiritus sancti"...that's the suggested, which those consenting ignore those suggesting it for.
In short...consenting to suggested implies dichotomy; the suggested implies distraction from dichotomy.
