Remembering what was; while looking for hope towards what will be...confuses one now.
"I" implies one making a claim upon self..."don't" (doing nothing) contradicts that.
If "you" and "I"; then differentiation through action. That implies a lot of doing...
a) asking a question implies by choice (odd); which can only exist within balance (even).
b) "exist" aka EX (expression) IST (repression)...expression (life) can only exist within impressing (inception towards death). -ist (exist) implies ones consent to suggested -ism (existentialism) aka ones submission to another aka ones repression of self; while ignoring to express self.
Hope tempts one to want suggested outcomes; while ignoring need to adapt to perceivable origin...need/want implies enacting balance for ones reacting choice.
If one chooses to "want" hope; then one positions self against "not wanting" fear aka within a conflict of reason (hope vs fear). This conflict is controlled by those suggesting one what to hope/fear.
