One thing I notice is how little good reporting there is on this or the conflict in Ukraine. There is so much propaganda and main stream lies that sifting through it all to find some grains of truth is a full-time chore and most people don't have time for it because we work real jobs doing real labor.

The USA is in foreign entanglements and the forefathers of the Constitution clearly stated that they were opposed to this and put in place some restrictions against constant long-term standing armies. Of course the restrictions of the Constitution are meaningless because we do not have organized local militias to enforce them.
