The people doing this own all of the open source movements. They were already there when the warnings were first issued. They kicked the opposition off of the boards and spent the programming budgets on paying themselves to be social justice consultants.

They tried that with gnome2 --- The project just forked to MATE'

OpenOffice forked to LibreOffice

Debian even has some kernel forks (ports) BSD, Hurd with Mach microkernel

If you don't like a movement ---- create your own

There is only one true Linux distro. That is Debian and Slackware!

Debian had amazing package management back in 1995.

heh. Well of course people with any common sense use Linux. I use Open Office for my own projects, but these days my clients all use Windows 10 and Office 365 and its ghastly Microsoft cloud technologies.
