Well, there's plenty wrong with the Catholic Church. I get why people disparage it, it deserve much scorn.
But the idea that everyone had it wrong for 1500 years till Luthor or Calvin came along, well, that's just Protestants protesting. It's what they were founded on, protesting the Catholic Church. It's part of who and what they are, and if you take that away from them, what are they then?
No that is not strong evidence you're mentioning. Strong evidence would be Christian or non-Christian contemporary sources discussing the Church and who leads it. Early non-Christian sources just mentioned the religion was centered around Jesus Christ. Not Peter.

Everyone? Many people sure, but not everyone.
Peter was the leader of the apostles, hands down, the Biblical evidence is so strong you refuse to debate it and instead engage in ad hominins.
After Peter, I get it, lots of people think they are the legitimate successor. Think on why there are 40,000 plus denominations in the US alone.

I said strong "Biblical" evidence.
If you're going to move away from sola scriptura, you're not going to like where it leads you. You sure you want to go there?
