Anything by Graham Hancock, Daeniken and the like.

The whole Ancient Astronauts and Lost High-Tech Civilization narratives.

It's fun as Sci-Fi stories and resonated with me when I was a boy but the moment I learned about the Scientific Method I realized that these people are just grifters.

We are the aliens. I believe in the hidden history theory. Laird Scranton has a book on Scar Obrea that you may enjoy. He was a comp sci analyzer 20 yrs ago. He only writes his research, and I've heard him refuse to guess on podcasts. You may enjoy him.

You hate Hancock because you think he’s making stuff up for money.

I am generally uninterested in what he has to say these days because I think he’s accepted his role as a comfortable gatekeeper for the spacejews.

We are not the same.

I don't hate him. I read a couple of his books when I was much younger and uneducated and thought that he was making some really good points.

Now that I know more, it's easy for me to look through his claims. I also realized that making claims without presenting evidence is one of the hallmarks of these grifters.

Education really helps. Give it a try.
