Vaccines are bad for you.
My faith in the entire medical industry was already shaky over the insane costs of medical care and rumors of medical journals printing lies...but the last three years accelerated my distrust from half impulse power to warp nine.
When the covid shot was first coming out, my initial reaction was "neat, I'll get it when I know its safe and early adopters have taken it". my plan was to wait a year between so that news of the shot would proliferate and I could make a more educated decision. in that year, the shot went from a vaccine that was 100% effective with no side effects to a treatment with known heart issues as a side effect that would not even stop you from contracting the virus. When all the news pundits kept screaming at the top of their lungs to get the shot, despite the fact that it's intended use and effectiveness had changed so dramatically, I knew it was bunk and my faith in the medical industry severely soured.
I began to notice how doctor's knee-jerk reaction to any sort of illness was to sell you some pills, rather than investigate the source of the illness. When I tried to press doctors to help me find the root source of a chronic symptom I was having, I had to go through several doctors and several urgent care units before I could finally get the screening that I was looking for, and insurance did not pay for it.

My daughter was on an alternative vaccine schedule and I still said the same. "Seems to be a safe and effective vaccine, but it doesn't prevent infection or spread" - me in Jan 2021.
The result is not only did none of us get that, but now my kids will be getting ZERO vaccines. We moved states and more just to make all this happen.
I remember watching the Wakefield doc Vaxxed a few years before the cohoax, and another one about the origin of aids (fucked up simian/human “vaccine trials” which ended up transferring a simian disease (SIV) to Humans (HIV) in the Congo, iirc). I wasn’t convinced, but I was certainly suspicious enough to be wary.

Before there was a medical industry, there were homeopaths and allopaths.
People joked that with allopaths, the patient died from the cure; with homeopaths, the patient died of the disease.
John D. Rockefeller created modern medicine by swooping in and making sure any medicines that couldn't turn a profit were denigrated as quackery and outlawed. He and others like Carnegie founded universities to teach their pet drug dealers and butchers, and had the whole thing declared philanthropic and amazing by the urinalists of the day.

He also bumped up the salaries of 'doctors' to make sure that he attracted the wrong (right?) sort of people.

I will never stop telling people the healthiest person I ever met was also the only completely unvaccinated person I ever met. I was a bit worried about him ever getting chicken pox as an adult, but he wasn't.
My distrust of vaccines started when the chicken pox shot came out. Why would the medical community spend so much time and effort on a common illness with such a low fatality? Mind you, I caught it as an adult- from my three kids. It was horrible. I was out of work for a month. I still saw no need to develop a vaccine for it.
