It's the same for the Mexicans living here. Most of them are here to make enough money to buy a house or ranch and move back. A few however are here to stay because where they left is dominated by cartels and they don't want their kids getting caught up in it
Meh, I know a few mexican family's. The main guy is a fantastic fellow, although Ill never forget the time he asked me to cut some piping in a 30 ft warehouse and when I asked, where is the ladder. He points at some scaffolding and a 15 foot ladder. In america, living homeless that summer, it was terrifying thinking I might break my arm lmao, but I needed the money and did it anyway.
The guy is a hard worker, strange sense of humor, and hits on the ladies a bit to much. But I like him. Most of the other community that he is part of are full of some good people. Mostly illegals lol. Strange place to pick, appalachia.
However, buying weed in america is fun, having to deal with people who are also slinging heroin. Most of that poison I seen sold was the mexican kind. The dirty tarball looking stuff.
Ive also seen alot of the mexican organized crime standing on the street corners of bumfuck nowhere slinging this shit. This is why cops here said at the very beginning of corona, they werent the mask police. Call the health department if you want to complain about that. They got real work to do.
And its fucking insane, you look at police reports or even pay attention. And youll be surprised how many of these organized crime people get caught, get deported, and then just walk right back over. There is a reason all other countrys do not allow unfettered access.
I moved to Canada, from appalachia. shit over 10 years now. And thought for sure that I would be a able to build my life here and it would be better than the hicks right?
Oh fuck after what happened to me. Everyday I ask my partner if they are ready to go back yet, surely but slowly I seem to be getting them used to the idea. They are aware of how fucked canada is.
I think it's pretty much screwed up just about everywhere any more. They're trying to make it so there is nowhere to hide, but that just leaves 2 options. Accept your fate, or die trying to change it. Not a smart move on their part
