How can a telescope in Hawaii and Chile see almost the entire sky if earth is a globe?
They see their portion as the earth rotates then this data is combined...
You wouldn’t see above Africa from either location. Pull out your globe and look.
The earth does turn, so eventually during the night it will see the same view that Africa does, though not at the same time.
