Space laser only discredits the actual possibility of DEWs which are proven real. They were used on the ac130 and could be used to disable icbms from miles away. They said they quit using it because it was dangerous to use chemicals lasersthat big like that which are more powerful than electronic lasers but use hazardous material. But i could imagine a more scaled-down version on a small drone for short range fires since that takes less energy and precision than stopping a nuke. It doesn't even have to be government i seen someone make a chemical laser in a youtube video and you can just get the stuff for it online so it could be a domestic terrorist with diy lasers duct taped to a walmart drone.
