His mentor/predecessor was jewish too. I suppose, like mormons, they like to keep their own people running the show.

Go another predecessor back to Larry O'Brien, and you have one of the people that was with Kennedy when he died. Then he worked for Robert Kennedy who was also assasinated. Kind of odd connections and circumstances.
