Nobody stood close to the bell when it was launching. It was emitting gobs of gamma-rays. It was observed that plant life around the site of where the bell was tested were aged beyond recognition without decay. The underground chamber they would test the bell in was designed to be tiled with rubber, then after each experiment the rubber was to be burned. Please read Joseph P.
