I think it's stupid but why should they be harmful?

What point are you trying to make? If people want to worship demons, why shouldn't they? Ever heard of Freedom of Religion?
You might be surprised to learn, that as per Supreme Court decisions, demon worship isn't considered a religion and doesn't get First Amendment protections.
