Another angle is that he is a candidate picked by the WEF - he was annointed a 'Young Global Leader' some years ago, which means he sucks Schwab's ass and takes orders, which is why old Gavin has banned gas cars, gas stoves, and gas generators, and diesel trucks in California which will royally screw over Chinese goods transportion from Long Beach.
