0% of myself thought that any of this was reflected in any movie about WW2 that I have ever seen.
100% of me agreed that: "I love war movies and I have seen a ton."

right. and nowhere is the pre-WWII general public's distaste for jews ever seen. if one digs around, there was really quite a bit of animosity towards them. considering what our Founding Fathers thought of jews, it's surprising they were ever allowed to prosper in this country.
Similar to what Bill Cooper said, Alan Watt made the claim that in ancient Greece, attendance was made mandatory at theatrical performances for the purposes of indoctrination. I was never able to substantiate it, but then again They've had a couple of millennia to suppress that info.
Funny if true, though, because in "Lysistrata", the women go on a "sex strike" to end the Peloponnesian War. How far we've come.
