1896, before hitler and his posse tainted the symbol. You got to wonder if it was on purpose as well. They did a great job making sure no one would want to talk about it.
No conclusion is attempted as to the time or place of origin , or the primitive meaning of the Swastika, because these are considered to be lost in antiquity. The straight line, the circle, the cross, the triangle, are simple forms, easily made, and might have been invented and re-invented in every age of primitive man and in every quarter of the globe, each time being an independent invention, meaning much or little , meaning different things among different peoples or at different times among the same people ; or they may have had no settled or definite meaning. But the Swastika was probably the first to be made with a definite intention and a continuous or consecutive meaning, the knowledge of which passed from person to person , from tribe to tribe, from people to people , and from nation to nation, until, with possibly changed meanings, it has finally circled the globe.
Plato makes no mention of the symbol, at least not post latin translations. But its very possible it could be from atlantis.
As for freemasonry, yeah very likely. It for sure originated from egypt, if not babylon but its basically a collection of truths. Some about the nature of the reality, some are in the form of mathematics. It's with this special knowledge they built things like the great pyramid, and cathedrals later on.
Was watching 10,000 bc a while back a movie from 2008. And at the end they talk about the people who are building the great pyramid. They essentially hint they are from atlantis. One scene the guy even says, "no one knows where they are from, some say from the sky". Just thought it was a funny random one liner to put in a movie with realistic tones in it.
The movie wasnt that bad, but its considered the worst movie the guy directed. If your into all this mystical stuff, its worth a watch as I felt there were some parts that may have been a little to deep for your average consumer.
This guy directed the original stargate movie as well. I should have figured.......
-edit more- I know im side tracking now, but this is just something to me. Tried to see if this guy ever worked for any military. He did not. He did travel with his father alot as a kid who was wealthy from owning garden tool manufacturing company. Ended up wanting to be a director after seeing star wars. Anyway you can read the wiki. Did work with the military for his first movie in the states, was cancelled but then makes that cyborg warrior movie.
The part that caught my eye? This guy wanted to make a video game with bethesda, called the 10th planet......
in fucking 1997, what the fuck?
Around the time, Emmerich and Devlin got involved with Bethesda Softworks to develop the video game The 10th Planet, which was scheduled to be released in October 1997, but got canceled.[12][13]
In the distant future, the Solar System is a ravaged battlefield, and mighty starship armadas are the tools of our destruction. Using a previously unknown tenth planet orbiting the Solar System as its staging ground, an alien force plans on conquering Earth and destroying anything that gets in its way. Development on The 10th Planet began as early as 1994.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, if I have to point out the obvious here. How did this guy know about planet X, 20 years before it became public....
They did find a object, smaller than pluto in 2005 that some called the "10th planet" but turns out theres dozens of these things out there, so its kind of unfair to call them planets. But even then thats almost 10 years later....this guy was talking about planet x....
Derp, hes a fan of Sitchin.
The 1994 movie Stargate, directed by Roland Emmerich, and the 2009 video game The Conduit drew some conceptual inspiration from Sitchin's ideas,[18][19] while screenwriter Roberto Orci says the villains of the film Cowboys & Aliens were inspired by Sitchin's conceptualization of the Anunnaki as gold-mining aliens.[20]
Yeah, I still think this guy is privy to some insider knowledge, either intentionally or through the people feeding him scripts/information.
Possibly about the swastika, I never did finish this book, but I found most of what I read to be fascinating. I should finish it sometime.
