Looking at the design I couldnt help but think it looked something like that nuclear deep sea sub that blew up last year. The one where some russian officer claimed that they saved the world, but didnt elaborate how.

I guess it wasnt the aliens, if it was the burger ufo that buddy says is floating around the bermuda, it would likely have been turned to dust, if you believe that 4chan guy. Something about his story has been nagging at the back of my mind though.

Maybe the sub got to close and they lost power and sunk past the depth they could handle.

Of course the most simplest and likeliest answer is the correct one. The piece of shit of sub went to deep or to fast or just compromised from all the trips before it.
