Let me ask you, what difference does it really make if the world is flat or not. We have our beliefs, humans have never been known for their rationality, your not going to change someones core unless its through some life altering event. Like getting poisoned with refrigerant lmao.
If this one singular god is as truly powerful as you all have been brought up your entire life to believe, it doesnt matter if we are surrounded by space, or water. I dont know how science proving the existence of a burning ball of gas that is 151.98 million km away, or showing the very existence of the particles (which as one preacher puts it, is showing the building blocks that god has used to build the universe), disproves that. If it that is all it takes to shake your faith, then maybe you dont truly believe.
I believe in something, but I certainly think after 2000 years that kings/queens/religion, have twisted that into their own purposes. I always used to wonder as a kid, how do we know the devil didnt win 2000 years ago and weve all been worshipping the wrong religion, lmao. I was closer to the truth as a 8 year old than most adults get their entire life.
I bet the government loves flat earth, instead of running around actually researching something that matters ( and im one to talk with the amount of time i spend researching/reading about ancient religions and aliens, useless in todays political/societal context ). So instead of organizing or learning how your politicians are literally bought and traded by corporations, like mike dewine and the first energy crisis, your chasing 2000 year old fairy tales about a flat earth when they knew other continents existed.
I don't like this "what difference does it make" argument against flat earth theory.
For one, you sound like Hillary Clinton.
Two, the difference of whether we live on a PLANE of existence or a 3D floating spinning massive balls in an expanding universe makes a difference on how you perceive the REALM that you live in.
Does it make a difference whether a fish is in a fish bowl or in the ocean? Yes. On all kinds of things, including the SIZE of the fish.
You do make some good points. One being that I still have to go outside today and get some work done, feed the animals, tend to the land, make repairs, etc. whether i'm on a ball or plane.

Mind blowing really.
