a) one implies different from other ones.

b) MANNER (sort; kind) implies particular nature aka partial manner (choice) within whole nature (balance).

What would make...different

Motion differentiates itself from action (motion) into reaction (momentum)...

even still

EVEN (balance) implies within motion (momentum)...only within even (balance) can there be odds (choice).

doesn't need...but chooses

Choice implies within need/want balance. Only within balance (surrounding) can there be choice (center).
