We didn't do anything to Japan prior to Pearl Harbor but a trade embargo and minor support to Chinese forces by volunteers.
America increased sanctions after Japan allied with Germany for Oil thats wartime iffy , but Im isolationist AMerica didnt need to be getting involved in foreign affairs. I wasnt defending pearl harbor though that was a joke on Chinas history it was Japans turn to rule them a 2000 yr cycle of a foreign Asian group taken them over for a few centuries..
Ah. Hard to tell jokes, especially on this board when extreme opinions are common. Maybe in an alternate universe Japan ruling China would have made the world a better place.
