You’re spitting hairs. They’re talking about using runes for magic. I didn’t claim a rune is magic. They can be used for it.
The people who claim that there is "rune magic" are claiming that runes have magic powers.
If you don't know anything about the topic, educate yourself
I don’t think any thing in creation is inherently evil and you must make a choice to actively participate in evil. A rune is a tool that can be used for magic, or for whatever, your intentions and choices make it so.
You’re straw-manning an argument against someone who isn’t here isn’t an example of you “knowing about the topic”.
