Good stuff, but all I got out of this was that The fish tank example is approaching my favorite topic of aether physics. I don’t know enough about the standard model of decay, but I can see that the ‘nothing’ in modern physics has huge effects (it is the aether). Also, please note that wave is what something does, not what something is. Water does not become a wave, and waves do not turn into water when they come to rest. A wave is a perturbation in the medium
To be fair, the detonations were pretty high giving much of the material a chance to scatter.
Please go on. I’ve never heard this. I’m sort of aware of the model of how slow radiation decays, but why might that be wrong?
