The same happened with Q-LARP. Whether it ever referred to itself as anything other than Q is irrelevant; others did say “Qanon” (and it’s the… what the hell? My autocorrect just made the A lowercase. Does… it know about this shit?)

I’m personally responsible for getting it banned from 8chan’s /pol/ board for being a proven hoax, and I’m the one who invented the term “Q-LARP” (which it itself later mentioned). I’ve been on it since the start. It was irrefutably proven to be a hoax exactly one week after it first posted. That’s when it ended. It was over then.
