I was permanly banned for disagreeing with a woke mod of r/bestofredditupdates. No rules broken, not even acting a fool. And there was no reason given, because there was no reason.
I'm not sure what's going on. I created several accounts on reddit using different devices and browsers. Obviously all masking my real IP address. It takes reddit a while, looks like at least a couple of days, sometimes more, to figure out, then they cancel them. I still have a few active ... seems weird. It's like they're cancelling them manually, one by one. I'm not posting and commenting or even voting, I just want see what's their game. No doubt about this, my effort is worth it. I have confirmed reddit is bait.
They only want you there if they know who you are, or they can track you and hopefully you post some content they can use against you in some future time. And seems to be a new directive they have all received. I noticed something similar on Instagram.
That's interesting. Because I was banned when I stopped participating in anything but other peoples drama or cat subreddits. Years ago I had someone banned for using my phones hot spot, and they refused to acknowledge they were in the wrong.
Yeah, they never give a reason. Not even during an appeal.
I started appealing when I get bored just to cuss them out. I actually feel better not going on reddit.
Waste of time. I've tried it before, no joy. I wonder how they come up with these suspensions. Just to try it out, I was very careful. Used VPN, 3 devices, used Tor browser and make sure the IP address is always random. I even used a tool to check my privacy posture. That came up very high. The email address I used was Outlook, commonly used.
I haven't posted or done anything, still permanently suspended. It took more than 2 days, so they must either do this manually or AI. Can't quite figure it out, that's the intriguing part for me. I don't want to be part of their network. I just want to know how they discriminate.
I support your endeavors. I would look on r/admin. They tell what the new tools and updates are.
