Definitely a cult at the least, I would buy certain arguments for it being idol worshipping religion.

They perform ceremonies, in private and in public.

They have devout followers, many of whom would likely die for a Disney driven cause.

They put out dictates and expect followers to tow the line.

They sell you on a wonderful experience in their parks (churches) while making you stand around in line doing nothing with your life.

Plenty of idols for all walks of life build faith and alliance in.
