This is the order I read these articles in.
CUMBERLAND, MD Yesterday, Starasia Leslie Smith, 20, was arrested after making thirty emergency 911 calls within a 24-hour period and hanging up each time without providing any information to dispatchers. Officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to Smith’s residence multiple times but were met with resistance as she refused to speak to officers or identify herself. As a result, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
The tweet, dated earlier this month, says, "OPP Comm Centres have seen a significant increase in 911 hang-ups. This may be linked to an Android update that turned on Emergency SOS. You could easily dial 911 without knowing. Please, check your phone. Ensure 911 lines are available for life threatening emergencies." On iOS, tapping the power button five times will bring up a slider that needs to be moved in order to call emergency services.

It's dated earlier this month, my local police are either incompetent, or they don't care.
They're corrupt, and rbeh need to be defunded. They clearly harassed this woman, and then have her charges when she got fed up.
