Ya cut me deep, Shrek. I do indeed rely on others for my income and am not 'prepping'. I'm not advocating it, that's just where life finds me right now.
Well I hate being at the mercy of others. Just a couple months ago the price of eggs more than doubled in a week so I bought my own fucking chickens.
If they jack up your electricity rates you will say fuck them and put some huge solar panels on your roof or invest in geothermal or cut your usage down somehow.
We innovate we adapt. I want to be independent. Live off the land. Harness the energy that is free. Barter for my goods. Not have to punch a clock.
Man I wish I had some chickens! Good on'ya. I too wish for those things and if I had it my way I'd live in a tree house, locked away in a forest but it's not in the cards today, so, I'll keep hoping and keep on keepin on in the meantime. I'm glad you're having the means and doing well, that's good stuff!
Unfortunately, if you’re on the side of good, there is no material preparation for what’s going to happen soon. Any treasures you try to accrue will be taken by the hands of wicked men during this time. Instead, you will have to completely rely on God to supply you with food, water, and basic clothing until it’s all over. Everything else will be denied you. We’re gearing up for the last act and it isn’t biblical to prep for it the way preppers do. Just trust God and let Him direct you to where you need to go.
All the money you make is off grid. You barter and exchange time or goods instead of money.
You supply over 50% of your own food.
You provide some of your own energy.
You have your own water source.
etc. etc. The prepper bunch is kind of ahead of us on some of this shit. Maybe they were wrong about exactly WHAT they were prepping for.
