He kept upping my blood pressure medication even though I kept asking him to put me on betablockers and his friend the cardiologist he referred me to told him not once, but twice to immediately put me on calcium blockers before trying the beta blockers.

At one point when I was taking 300mg of Irbesartan and it was doing nothing to lower my blood pressure he tells me to start taking my medication. When I got the holter done 7 months later, he looks at it for 10 seconds, looks me in the eye and tells me that I should see a therapist or take anti anxiety medication. Very first line of the holter results says prevailing rhythm is sinus arrhythmia. Might be normal if I was young, a triathlete, and I wasnt having issues like near syncope, head rushes, heart pounding, hyper tensive blood pressure, etc.

Fucking asshole was smirking when he told me too, felt like he was getting off on the power.

Anyway, I didnt even want the guy to get fired, although I question his ethos or whatever. At the very least he should have been disciplined for swapping blood pressures. He was swapping blood pressures from before the beta blockers with blood pressures after. Fucked me good.
