You are absolutely correct. But, somewhere they both want no babies, and want women to not be able to get proper BC. When people say that the point is to make women suffer I have to agree. Daycare costs entirely too much to be a minimum wage job. Choosing to be a stay at home mom negatively effects you when you rejoin the workforce.
It's not a minimum wage job. Those women get paid very well lol. People shouldn't be surprised at the cost of feeding and protecting the most precious thing in your family. That's why smart cultures have grandparents raise the babies once mom goes back to work. Only seen poor white people do this tho.
