I mean, there are lots of other "satanic" connections, but I don't think their logo is one.

A big one is the octagon, but not because of Venus (there's no relation to Venus). It's due to the 8 sides. 8 is a big number in satanism. Some groups will hold their services on the 8th day, or the 8th hour as an example. LaVey associated the number 8 with "indulgence" when he wrote the satanic "bible". 8 is associated with Azazel in the form of an 8-pointed star. The sigil of Baphomet has 8 lines radiating from the center.
