When masons layout DC or other areas in this shape, it seems to resemble the Nazca Lines - Mysterious Geoglyphs Of Peru.
False. The pentagram holds mathematical ratios within it that dictate structure and order. That's why it's revered as a magical symbol.

SATAN (adversary) + ADVERSE (opposite)...what if suggested symbolism represents the opposite of perceivable symmetry? Symmetry implies a flow state, symbolism represents an affixed form; tempting those who consent to ignore the flowing symmetry which the symbol was shaped out of.
LAY (implies laying within) OUT (implies out of)
SHAPE (to form) implies out of; within and in response to flow
Form (life) laid within and shaped out of flow (inception towards death)...
