Who do you think the free donuts and $10 gift cards were for?

They weren't for pilots, doctors, nurses, EMT, etc.

They were for the poor people.

But even there, poor people are typically the largest group of idiots and subsequently the most gullible. They don't require special coercion, they simply need to be told something then hear about/see 1-5 other people do it and that's good enough.

That's literally the basis of how propaganda/idealogies are spread in a civilization. You start wit the lowest common denominator, AKA the biggest group of idiots, then go from there. Why? Because social proof is the most powerful tool a propagandist has against humans.

From there, they drag along the next group with a large percentage of useful idiots, the blue collars. Then so on and so forth. As you get higher up, you require stronger and stronger propaganda, but it's ALWAYS rooted in that original social proof. "look, these 100 people did it, why won't you? Are you afraid of a needle?"

Sorry to hear about your friend. However, she's a great but unfortunate example of the LCD demographic - the Lowest Common Denominators - and how their fear can be used against them... And in turn, against others. Theoretically, it's likely she convinced at least 1-2 other people to get the shots... That person then likely convinced 1-2 more, and so on.

My own mother is firmly planted in the LCD demographic; it took her 3 shots and 1.5 years of me explaining it for her to see the forest for the trees. She was raised privileged and pampered and excelled in school, she's also an RN. On the other hand, my stepfather is cold as ice and grew up hard, he adamantly rejected the shots without my input required.

LCD isn't just about the intelligence quotient either. It really just boils down to lacking general "common sense" and being susceptible to "trust the science" types of rhetoric. In the US, the LCDs are just as prevalent in the "college educated" demographic as they are the "could barely graduate highschool" demographic.

I know lots of rich people (richer than me, which is almost everybody) who got the shot. I didn't. The people who got the shot had to or believed the TV brainwashing machine. I also don't believe that poor people are necessarily stupid. I consider your demographic comparisons pure speculation and somewhat prejudiced.

You've either grossly misunderstood what I said, or you're purposefully being obtuse.

I didn't say poor people are inherently stupid, nor did I say they're the only ones who got the gene therapy. Being poor doesn't equate to lacking education. Similarly, possessing education doesn't equate to possessing financial wealth.

In fact, the correct term isn't "poor people" at all, that's just how OP was framing it and thus how I framed my reply. The proper term is "lowest common denominators". Long story short, the idiots and morons. I was going to be offending people either way so it is what it is.

Regardless, what I said was, "poor people" are the largest social group in the US (this is a fact) and thus have the largest amount of useful idiots (this is a fact) and gullible fools (also a fact) to spread propaganda to the rest of the population - including within their own demographic. AKA, they have the largest distribution of the lowest common denominators.

That's not to say that other demographics don't have their own useful idiots and gullible fools, but we're effectively comparing handfuls to dump truck loads and thus the former is irrelevant. When it comes to effectively spreading propaganda across an entire society, you need a big group of useful idiots to really get it going.

This is the basis of how modern propaganda works. It starts with convincing the largest group which subsequently results in convincing the smallest groups. Eventually, enough people from all the groups believe "it" that the few who don't ultimately won't matter one way or another.

This to say, It doesn't necessarily matter if 1 person believes something, but if you can say "100000 people" do, that 1 person is insurmountably more likely to believe it as well - based entirely on social proof.

Before it's brought up as an "ah-ha!", social proof can also function based on the influence of just a single person if they have a large and obedient following. But that's primarily rooted in the "proof" that stems from the following as they agree without question. Like a shepherd and a flock of sheep. Hence celebrities being used as props and "top doctors" sprouting up everywhere.

If there's still hesitancy, then you shame them; "Hey, you without the bloodclots, those 999 other people got the jab so why haven't you? You're the only one without clots and they all think you're crazy."

It's just how the human brain works. Not EVERY human's, but the majority. We're herd animals after all. If you want to see how easy this is to manipulate, stand downtown when it's busy and stare inquisitively up at the sky. Eventually, 1 other person will. Then 2 more, then 3 more, then all of a sudden 3/4 of everyone on the block is looking up... At nothing. The first couple might have been curious but everyone after is just a sheep following the flock.

You can argue with this all you want, if you want, but you're just arguing against facts. Social proof is the most powerful tool propagandists have and it all starts with the largest group of useful idiots. This group is, almost 100% of the time, considered the "poor people", but more accurately referred to as the LCDs.

It's also not necessarily accurate. In Behold a Pale Horse it is said that the propaganda goes for women first, social class is a lesser factor.

Also many many rich people are just NPCs good at playing the game or doing whatever the system wants. I have worked with many of them
