Remember the media's and Governments "Peak Oil" prophecy during the 2000's? That came and went.

I used to follow a guy, Jacob Lund Fisker, a financial writer who was all about "Peak Oil"....wrote about it constantly. Finally shut up when his magical date came and went and fracking (a slight tech upgrade) shut him down
