Just thinking out loud. Title says it all.

That ensures nothing comes from it but polarization and cognitive dissonance.
Why not just release all the tapes to the public? Or to multiple independent journalists?
Not a single logical reason to avoid doing that.
Tucker will run his show and then juxtapose that stuff with a bunch of irrelevant social issues that the left is programmed to react poorly towards.
It’s poisoning the well on a National scale.
The well is filled with toxins that would make a chemist blush already.
Giving the tapes to Tucker ensures the widest audience, both normie Fox viewers, but also because Tucker is the only guy the OAN crowd and The_Donald commentators will watch on Fox (or from YouTube clips); and that's why I suppose that he was chosen as the outlet.
It doesn’t ensure the widest audience.
Releasing it to the public would have resulted in greater exposure because Tucker would still be free to run his segment.
He just wouldn’t be the only one.
They literally use Tucker to politically neutralize important stories.
The left can simply ignore this now.
Seems like a pretty wide audience to me, it's all over social media, the Dems are pissed as is McConnell (but I repeat myself). Tucker is the highest rated news show on TV. Can't get wider than that, mon ami.
It's video, it has to be a visual medium, so you can exclude the NYT as a viable option.
Likewise, no lefty outlet would run the story.
Besides, they will ignore it anyway, or complain, which they have done both of, and when on God's green earth do you think it would change anyone's mind on anything? Sorry, that's just silly to think so, or worse, use it as an argument for why releasing it to Tucker was some sort of bad decision.
So whatcha got left?
